4 Help the sales stand?

Volunteers are always welcome to join our roving Sales Stand promoting the work of the H&G CT and raising funds. We attend vari¬ous events and func¬tions both locally and around the country.

5 Join us at the Monthly Socials at the Royal Oak in Much Marcle

Each month we hold a monthly social event where a speaker joins Members and Friends of the H&G CT to talk about a canal related subject. You will be made very welcome.

6 Put up a Poster

To promote awareness of our Canal Restoration we have produced this A4 poster. We ask Members and friends to put up this poster in your local community centre, post office, supermarket or workplace. If you would like copies of this poster please contact us or pick some up from The Wharf House.

Your expertise in almost any profession or skill is welcomed. From administration and accounting through computing and project design, planning and supervision, to grant aid sourcing and submissions (to name but a few) we have a volunteer role for you.

9 Donate via eBay for charity

All manner of items are donated to assist us, from tools and equipment for use on restoration sites and maintenance of the Canal and adjacent land, to items for fund-raising.

We have established charity status on eBay, via Missionfish, for anyone wishing to donate 10–100% of their eBay sales to the Herefordshire & Gloucestershire Canal Trust.
