Starting at Aylestone Park with a walk along to the Aylestone tunnel entrance, the tour will then drive to various stops, most with short walks, to view features of interest along the line of the canal.
A tour guide will tell you about the history of the canal and how restoration of the canal is progressing.
Free car parking at Aylestone Park – park up near the children’s playground.
Please wear sturdy walking footwear.
Unfortunately, the trip is not suitable for wheelchair users.
