There are a great many opportunities for canal restoration in Herefordshire, and in Hereford itself.
The Trustees of the Herefordshire and Gloucestershire Canal Trust are working hard to maximise on these, by building relationships with any many other organisations as possible to make restoration of the canal more than just a possibility.
It is far from easy, and as an article in the Hereford Times relates, a great many hurdles need to be overcome.
The Trust is well versed in this, having already successfully worked on many stretches of the canal between Hereford and Gloucester, as can be seen elsewhere on this website.
