Sales and Promotions Team go to Ledbury Community Day
at Various locations in Ledbury Town Centre including St Katherine’s Hall, The Burgage Hall and The Community Centre

The aim of Ledbury Community Day is to provide an opportunity for local groups to show what they do and encourage participation from locals and visitors – a celebration of Ledbury and District’s excellence.
In 2023 nearly 60 groups and organisations took part representing all ages and all parts of the community. The halls were busy and a number of groups held successful events on their own premises. Here’s some feedback from past years – “Another thoroughly enjoyable and successful day at (our) stand”, “(we) did well from having a presence at Community Day”, “We spoke to lots of people about our work, and had promises of future donations”, “I wanted to thank you very much for all the effort that went into this Community Day. It was a wonderful outreach project”.
Raising funds for and awareness of the Trust’s work is vital in maintaining progress with the Canal’s restoration.
Our Sales and Information Stand can be seen at many Waterways and Country Shows during the year.
We have two small teams of volunteers based at Hereford and Gloucester to cover both local and national events.

Come and visit, or better still, join us on the stand – We cannot promise that you will see the world with us but you may visit an area that is new to you – and we always do our utmost to ensure that you have some time to look around – and your admission to the event will be free!
