£15.00
There are already 8 people coming.
The walk of around 7.5 easy miles follows the route of the canal, some of which is in water, passing over the Ashperton tunnel and stopping for a pub lunch at the halfway point. The price of the lunch is included in the booking fee.
The walk is mostly flat with a few stiles, and we will go at a pace to suit everyone. It is mainly dry but there are a few slightly muddy areas so walking boots are recommended. We will stop for a tea/coffee break in the morning so bring a drink and biscuit.
Part of the 2026 Herefordshire Histories Festival - see more on this ...
Lunch is a sandwich and chips at The Oak Inn, Staplow. (Drinks to be bought separately.)
To help the pub prepare for our visit a menu will be sent out in the previous week for you to advise us of your choice.
Thank you.
